Sonoran Wings Flight Control Academy Division offers an FAA approved course to obtain the Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate as defined in 14 CFR Part 65 Subpart C.

The Aircraft Dispatcher is an integral part of the commercial aviation system in the United States. They are sometimes called the "Pilot on the Ground". They work directly with the Captain of the aircraft to provide for the safe and on-time operation of a flight. (See The Job )

Our classroom has computers on each participant table.

All testing is conducted at Sonoran Wings in Tucson. Practice tests are available on all of the computers.

Note: Before employment, aircraft dispatchers are required to pass an Alcohol and Drug test and a 10 year background check.
