
1. These persons have at least 2 years experience in the 3 years before the
date of application, in any combination of the following
areas:
A Pilot-Flight Navigator-Meteorologist in Military Aircraft Operations,
An Assistant Dispatcher-Pilot-Flight Engineer-Meteorologist in aircraft operations
conducted under FAR Part 121.
An Air Traffic Controller or Flight Service Specialist in aircraft operations.
An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) in aircraft
operations performing duties that provide equivalent experience.
2. You must take and pass the (ADX) aircraft dispatcher computerized test
prior to joining a class at the Academy. The applicant is responsible for paying the testing facility for the (ADX) test.
The Academy will provide the location of a testing facility near the student's residence.
3. In the case of assistant dispatchers under the direct supervision of a
certificated dispatcher--You must be able to provide a letter written by the Director of
Operations,
Chief Pilot, or the Manager-Flight Control (or equivalent), that you
have at
least two (2) years of the past three (3) years working in the operations
department
of an air carrier. Military personnel are required to
provide any records attesting to their experience and rating.
4. You must receive written confirmation from the Academy that you
qualify to
attend the reduced hours course.
5. This course for U.S. Nationals only.
6. You may purchase the Airline Transport Pilot written exam guide from the
Academy for our cost plus postage. ($25.00).
